There are two ports where you can dock on the island: the <strong>port of Portoferraio<\/strong> (the most popular, with a navigation time of about 1 hour) and the <strong>port of Rio Marina<\/strong> (less frequented given the long winding road you need to reach the other locality, with a duration of about 40 minutes of navigation).\n<h4>From Portoferraio<\/h4>\nIf you disembark at the port of Portoferraio, Lacona can be reached mainly by two roads:\n<ul>\n \t<li>the shortest road is about 9 km long, with a journey time of about 15 minutes. On leaving the village of Portoferraio on the left, at the last roundabout in front of the sports fields, turn right and continue straight ahead. The road (not in perfect condition) will go up a hill and then descend and take you to our locality. Once in Lacona, at the end of the descent, you will find yourself at a small roundabout with a minimarket. Always go left (in the direction of Capoliveri) for about 1 kilometre; our entrance will be under the road, with a dirt square and the signs of the structure.<\/li>\n \t<li>the second road is about 12 km long, with a journey time of about 20 minutes. Always on the exit of the village of Portoferraio on the left, at the last roundabout in front of the sports fields, go straight for about 5 km; at the first big crossroads you find, turn right with indications for Lacona. The flat and panoramic road will take you to our locality. As soon as you disembark from the ship, go up towards the town of Rio nell&#8217;Elba and take the signs for Porto Azzurro. Once in Porto Azzurro (one of the most beautiful villages on the island), go past the town and continue straight for 7 km, until you come to a crossroads.
